Heavenly to Serve Good Food on a Grand Scale for Guests Who Have an Appetite for Life
“At Vail Resorts, our mission is Extraordinary Resorts, Exceptional Experiences. A key piece of the experience we provide our guests is the food we serve. Our decision to launch Good Food on a Grand Scale is about the investment we are making in our guests, particularly kids, to ensure that we are doing our part to make our dining experience as healthy, clean and natural as the activities that happen every day on our mountains,” said Rob Katz, chief executive officer of Vail Resorts. “We admire the brand promises of both Coleman Natural and WhiteWave Foods and are proud to now make those same promises to our guests.” Heavenly serves over 400,000 lunches each ski season at its seven on-mountain venues, primarily to families and active, health-conscious guests of all ages. The organic dairy products and natural meats procured through the Good Food Partnership will be used to prepare meals in Vail Resorts’ on-mountain kitchens by resort chefs. Guests of Heavenly will see the Good Food Partnership promise expressed as Appetite For Life through informative signage and special events. This winter, Heavenly will be providing Good Food on a Grand Scale by serving natural, hormone-free meats and poultry and organic dairy products in its seven on-mountain restaurants, taking the cuisine at Lake Tahoe ski resorts to the next level. To accomplish this unprecedented effort, Heavenly is partnering with Coleman Natural Foods LLC and WhiteWave Foods Company, maker of Horizon Organic® dairy products and Silk® soymilk products.

CALIFORNIA BAR & CAFE - Closed for the season (Located inside the California Lodge) The California Bar, located inside the California Lodge, combines a rustic bar atmosphere with a fabulous drink and appetizer menu. Appetizers served from 11:00AM - 5:00PM and live music in the Cal Bar every weekend starting at 3:30PM. The California Cafe located inside the California Lodge, features a variety of snacks and favorites like chili, sandwiches and a fresh salad bar. Breakfast served from 7:30AM - 10:30AM daily.
